Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 交通管理(科學)學系 === 85 === ABSTRACT High-rise buildings are now being prompted as land pricesrise and desirable sites become hard to find. For maximumserviceability and economy, lift system must be planned torequirements of high-rise buildings. The conventional procedure used in the traffic design oflift systems was found to be unsatisfactory because it isdependent on a number of assumptions. The analytical techniqueonly applies to up-peak traffic and cannot access the qualityof service provided by the lift system. In order to overcomethese difficulties, a second-by-second simulation of an entirelift operation is developed in this study. The simulation methodcould apply to almost any type of traffic pattern in high-risebuilding. Some evaluation performances of lift system design, such as average passenger waiting time, average journey time andhandling capacity could be obtained from simulation runs. Largenumbers of different lift configurations are simulated under giventraffic conditions. These performances are then used to evaluatelift operation and find optimal capacity, speed and number of liftfor different kinds of building. We also find the optimal lift design for building with bankingand the threshold height of each bank. Finally, we discuss the sizeof common service of lift bank.
