Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 土木工程研究所 === 85 === ABSTRACT The depth of cover to the steel in reinforced
concrete is closely connected with the cracks occured in it, and
this relationship could be regarded as a major factor in probing
the durability of reinforced concrete. As to the fields of
materials, mechanics, management, mix design and construction
are evenly very important. High Performance Concrete has been
developed for some time and now had been put to work practically
in special engineering projects. Even though at this time, there
is no specific method in determining the proper depth of cover
for engineering use. First of all, the prevailing covering of
reinforced concrete used in common structure and their
corresponding results of cracks were collected and used as basic
data. After analysing and evaluating the basic data carefully
with the reliable design, then the determining method could be
found. From this study, it was recognized a relationship of
square root between Carbonation depth OF High Performance
Concrete and Time is gradual. This could be used as one of
useful information to our concrete engineering. Lastly many
parameters used in this paper were still required to do further
research to obtain more useful data base.
