Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 資源管理研究所 === 85 === The rivers and human civilizations have been closely related
duringhistory. As a consequence of rapid growth and changing
economy, people utilize water and riparian land intensively.
However, the demand-oriented resource use may not be a
sustainable future. Energy is a key force that can effect the
pattern of landscape and cultural evolution. Energy-
environmentrelation is also regarted as a major factor for a
sustainable society. Consideringviewpoint of ecological
energetic is a suitable way to discuss the implication for
symbiosis between river and city. This thesis reviews the mutual
effects between river and landuse to develop the conceptual
system model, and applies the theory of emergy analysis and
energy hierarchy to analyze the energetic spatial pattern of
6subsystem. Then, this theis identifies the energetic hierarhy
formed by the spatial energy flows. As a result:(1)the
caculation of river energy distribution and emergy indices
establish the same hierarchical order as Strahlar''s stream
order;(2)the caculations of economic management inputs establish
a similar hierarchical order as land-use pattern; and(3)the
implication of these two different spatially energetic hierarchy
indicates a better implication to planning practice for
organizing a systm in a sustainable way.
