The design included several moodification to the normal toolmanagment . 1.Expand BOM data 2.Design tool changes operation procedures 3.Decided tool inventories level by MRP data 4.Scheduling by MRP data 5.Control system capacity by MRP data 6.Decided tool reorder point by MRP data THe new tool managment can improve tool inventories level and get the mininization of tool changes . The exact BOM data can help the machine designer to reduce the kinds of tools ; besides it can control the systemcapacity easily.
