Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 土木工程學系 === 85 === The purpose of this dissertation is to determine the axial forcein a column of a "two-bay and one-story" Scaffold by vibrationalexperiment. The relationship between the scaffold structure's capacity and the real loading situation has a great influence on the safety of work sites. What is more, the boundary conditions are very important in determining the structure's ultimate capacity. However, without using strain gages ,load cell, transducers or other instruments, the real loading situation within the supportingcolumn can not be found. Therefore, the present experiment is completed using the personal computer to control the other supporting equipment, such as accerlometer, impulse hammer,PCB amplifier, and analog to digital converter. During the experiment, strain gages and the load cell are used to monitor and to record the column's loading situation, and the data are read and recorded by the data loggerand the computer. Based on the vibrational time history data, the fundamental frequency and the shape function can be found. Then, the data and the material's properties can be used to solve the equation which was previously derived to determine the theoretical axial force . This computed theoretical axial force is compared with the real loads recorded by the load cell.
