Summary: | 碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 物理學研究所 === 85 === The study, evaluation testing of the performance parameter are key method to developing a Focal Plane Array Thermal Imaging System (FPATIS). Especially the imaging quality of a FPATIS has always been the focus of people''s concern and emphasis.
In this thesis, we will focus on analysis and evaluation of three basic optical characteristics of FPATIS; including:
(1) The Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference, NETD of the system''s detecting sensitivity (temperature resolution).
(2) The Modulation Transfer Function, MTF of imaging quality.
(3) The Minimum Resolvable Temperature Difference, MRTD of imaging resolution.
A part from exploring theories, this paper will also provide the evaluation and comparison of the characteristics of seven imagers. In particular, the optical characteristics of the FPATIS were studied thoroughly. The results could serve as foundations for future applications.
