Eight organic hazardous constituents were chosen to study the docompose conversion at high-temperature oxidation, while the identify of the intermediates and the kinetic study were carried out.The eight organic hazardous constituents are sulfur hexafluoride, carbon tetrachloride, bromoform, benzene, sym-tetrachloroethane, ethyl chloride, hexachloroethane and 1,2,3,4-tetrachlorobenzene. This study considered asuitable compound to be an indicator of high- temperature oxidation fromsulfur hexafluoride, carbon tetrachloride and bromoform. Then, a set of suitable relation constants for indicator with other seven compounds in high- temperature decomposition. Continuous flowing reattor was chosen to study the high-temperatureoxidative decomposition and kinetic. The gas samples be gotten that be-fore and after reaction, would direct draw into GC-ECD/FID by gas capture. Besides, the identify of the intermediates was also measured by GC/MS and in-situ FTIR. The 95% decomposition temperatures for sulfur hexafluoride, carbon tetrachloride, bromoform, benzene, sym-tetrachloroethane, ethyl chloride, hexachloroethane and 1,2,3,4-tetrachlorobenzene respectively are 1050, 820, 750, 825, 580, 750 and 725oC.In addition, the activity energy of high-temperature oxidation, rate constant and portion order of reaction have been measured. The results indicate that the oxidative decomposition for sulfur hexa-fluoride, bromoform and benzene does not have any intermediate, but theothers have some intermediates. The intermediates of carbon tetrachloride,sym- tetrachloroethane, ethyl chloride, hexachloroethane and 1,2,3,4-tetra- chlorobenzene are Cl2C=CCl2 and ClO2, ClHC=CCl2 and ClO2, CH3CH=O, Cl2C=CCl2and ClO2, C6H3Cl3 and ClO2. The coefficient a and b of Fogler equation of all compounds where calculated by using decompose rate and reaction temperature. Those coefficientsand the indicator decompose rate, if know, would supply to figure out or calculate the decompose rate of those compounds in other incineration.
