碩士 === 大葉工學院 === 資訊管理研究所 === 85 === The major purpose of this study is to understand whether there aredifference between the network education in information department and the practical requirements of enterprise. The result of this study can provide suggestions for the present network tuition. The three subjectthis research explored included network planning, network management,and related course about Internet. The network tuition this study investigates is a obligatory subjectnamed "Business Data Communication". Additionally, considering that different type of enterprise may have different requirements in network,due to the limitation of time and cost, the scope of this study only focus on the information industry. According to the results of this study, there are significant differences between the network education and practical requirements ofenterprise. As for network planning, the first three items the industryemphasizes most are the reliable evaluation of network, the reliable evaluation of applied system and the compatibility problem of softwareand hardware. As for network management, the industry emphasizes the aspects about security and performance management of network. Finally,as for related course about Internet, the industry emphasizes the usageof developing tools for Internet.
