The equilibrium equation is derived by Betti's reciprocal theorem. The boundary element formulations for visco-plastic problems involving large strains and rotations are considered. An update Lagrangian approach is adopted for BEM analysis. Anand's and Li's constitutive models, which encounter the temperature and non-elastic strain rate are applied. In this analysis the stress, velocity and velocity gradient distributions are determined. The effects of piston velocity, prescribed stress and temperature on extrusion process considered. Results of Li's and Anand's model are provided and discussed. 施延欣 1997 學位論文 ; thesis 56 en_US
