碩士 === 中華工學院 === 建築與都市計畫學系 === 85 === This study, through conducting an operational analysis of Student Activity Center and Gymnasium of Chung Hua polyecthnic Institute" and collection of relevant local information,is aimed at providing a suitable evaluation and analysis on the role of student activity center and gymnasium in campus life and factors taken into consideration in its architectural programming and designs. Through collection of information, survey of actual conditions, survey analysis as well as classification and arrangement method, this study propose a concrete architectural planning for the construction of the Student Activity Center and Gymnasium of Chung Hwa Polyecthnic Institute to serve as a basis for architectural programming and designs. This study also hopes to serve as an effective research materials and serve as a reference for future related research. Primary research methods of this study: 1.Document Review: collect and analyze relevant information and documents related to the topics of the study. Include its theoretical background, operational methods as well as determine information related to this research, screen usable and appropriate contents. 2.Research Survey Method: Based on results and analysis obtained from operation of case examples as well as questionnaire surveys, serve as reference for operation construction plans by this study. 3.Provide discussion and proof of results of study based on above- mentioned research methods and through actual environmental and case operation. The primary objectives of this study are: 1.Clarify the definition and substance of architectural planning in this research, discuss actual problems encountered in school architectural planning . 2.Formulate architectural Space Demands Project by conducting individual case analysis, using "Architectural Planning of Student Activity Center and Gymnasium of Chung Hua polyecthnic Institute" as the primary subject of discussion, and taking into consideration the effective use of school resources and meeting the actual demands of users and the school, to formulate plans of architectural space demands. 3.Formulate architectural space correlated strength plans as well as provide a quantified simulated architectural space parcel plot, propose concrete architectural space allocation plans to provide a reference for architectural planning designs .
