It has done a good job on qualitative syste-ms, and has been appliedwidely on many products in recent years. The output of FLC utilizes the input data from the controlled system. In-time adjustments of FLC keep the system operated properly in most cases. In somecases, too manycontrol actions may cause high operating cost. Choosing theright time to have a control action is thus an important issue. Using the algorithm of Extended Reliability Evaluation Framework (X-REF), the fuzzy reliability system proces-ses as a filter to choose only the meaningful control actions. In the case of aggregate production planning, the model proposed in this research successful-ly reduces the variance of work force level.
