hydrogenation of2,3-Dimethyl-1,3-Butadiene(DMB).Choosing of
hydrogenation catalysts and comparison of the cis,trans,and
vinyl microstructure are all involved. The anionically
synthesized poly(2,3-Dimethyl-1,3-Butadiene)(PDMB) hasa mono-
dispersed MWD,and the fully hydrogenated of PDMB would yield
anatactic head-to-head polypropylene(PP).For the PDMB,we have
analyzed themicrostructure and their Tg and Tm using different
initiators and solvent.For the succeeding hydrogenation of this
PDMB,the catalysts-Pd/CaCo3,Nickeloctoate,and Nickelocene,the
resulting different microstructure arestudied.In addition,the
effects of hydrogenation on the Tg and Tm weredetermined.
