Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 機械工程學系 === 85 === ABSTRACTThe objectives of this project are to implement and validate a nonlinear finite element based approach for simulation of folded airbags and belted dummy model. The models and computer simulation techniques built up in this study can extend to a wide range of applications, including airbag sled test simulations, out-of-position occupant crash studies. etc. The projects includes two parts, The first parts concentrates on validation of the model for airbag folding and deployment. Various folding types, mass flow rates, vent holes, bag internal temperatures, bag pressure models are investigated to find the sensitivity of those parameters affected the pressure in air bag. The second part is devoted to validate dummy model; for each part of the dummy finite element model we examined the material properties such as density, young''s modulus, and poisson''s ratio and the joint load curve. Two simulation have been done to validated dummy head and neck finite element model that are dummy head drop test simulation and dummy neck bending test simulation. Then the full dummy model has been used to simulate Hyge Sled Test for belted dummy. Good correlation data has been found by this study and the simulation techniques built up in this project can help develop the air-bag system.
