Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 電機工程學系 === 85 === This thesis presents the experimental results for a hardware
implementationof the modulator and demodulator for the personal
access communication systems (PACS) -- o services (PCS). The
whole prototype PACS system consists of two modules: RF and DSP
modules. DSP module is further divided into two submodules,
namely modulator/demodulator and CPU/control submodules. In this
study, we are concerned with the design and implementation of
the modulator/demodulator submodule. The modulatoris basically a
ROM modulator, and the demodulator is implemented digitally
after A/D conversion of the received signal. All the circuits
are implemented by two field programmable gate arrays (FGPAs),
thirteen ROMs and one RAM. Loop back tests show that this design
functions very well. In addition, the modulator/demodulator
submodule is successfully integrated with the CPU/control
submodule to form a complete DSP module for theprototype PACS
system.
