Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 資訊管理研究所 === 85 === How to use information technology to make decisions is one of the most important issue in the area of management information systems. However it had been proved that group support systems(GSS) improve the scheme and outcomes of group decision making. It needs different kinds of decision-assisted tools when confronting different tasks. Most of the GSS research islevel one system. In the future, GSS should be combined with group decision tools such as AHP. In the early stage, the empirical research results of GSS are inconclusive because of the differences of tasks used in the studies. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of using AHP in GSS and choice tasks on group decision making. A 2×2 factorial design was used, and a total of 32 groups participated in the study. The dependent variables used in this study are group consensus change, perceived decision quality, decision scheme satisfaction, decision satisfaction and decision confidence. The results indicate that using AHP in GSS can make the meeting more effective outcomes on the preferential task than intellective task. In the manner of choice tasks, the result is whether or not using AHP in GSS are no difference on decision making. However when confronting preferential task, using AHP in GSS can make the meeting more effective outcome than used not AHP in GSS.
