Summary:碩士 === 大同工學院 === 材料工程學系 === 84 === The blackening treatment of steel shadow mask of color monitor for reducing thermal expansion by improving the thermal emissivity has beentraditionally conducted in exothermic atmosphere (DX-gas), however, thecharacteristics of the atmosphere are inevitably varied in different temperature zones of the continuous furnace. It is to study an alterna-tive nitrogen-based atmosphere with 6-8% of hydrogen and water additionfor this purpose. And the results showed that the thermal emissivity of the cold rolled carbon steel sheet could be increased from 0.3 to higherthan 0.8 with single phase of magnetite without apparent degradation of formability at the temperature of 500'C with H2O/H2=0.3-0.6 for 1-2 hr.
