碩士 === 淡江大學 === 管理科學研究所 === 84 === IC smart card system came into operation in Taiwan for a period of time. But still 1995, little research was done. This stydy explores the operation of IC smart card system in Taiwan, the sub-system and the function of card, etc. There are four substance in the system. They are the issuer, the liquidation center, the store and? user. About the issuer, this study analyzes factors which are considered when participate the IC Smart card system, how to promote, the key point of management and cost-benefit analysis of operation. About the liquidation center, this stydy analyzes the advantages, disadvantage and the change of management ,because of joint the system. About the user, this stydy tries to describe them and researches the attitude toward cards of the user. To compare theory framework with real world, this study interviews the issuer, the liquidation center and the store. This syudy divides the issuer into public and private and selects Land Bank and Chung-Hsing Bank. About the liquidation center, this study selects Finance Information Service Center. About the store, this study distingusihs them by size and selects FIT department store and Sum Merry Bbckery. Because the user and the store are too few, theory about the promotion of the store and the user, the internal change of the store''s management can''t conformt to real world. Except that, the management key point of the issuer and the joint factor of the store, etc, theory can conform to real world. Based on this result, this study provides three suggests. They are fit of enviroment, rising the incentives of joint the system for the store, rising the using inecntives for the user. Expected this study can provide a basis of future research.
