The main theme of the study indicates that during post- Cold War the cooperation of the US and its allies for resolving the crisis is not only essential but also advances the US national interests to meet the reality''s need. As to research method, theory-confirming and hypothesis- generating case study and comparative method are applied. Moreover, international cooperation theory, public goods theory, alliance theory and system theory are synthesized to derive three hypotheses, which are to be testified individually by three -level classification of nations --- superpower, second-tier power and small power --- that cooperated whth the US during the crisis. The study concentrates on the discussion of four crucial dimensions, including the standpoint of individual nation, diplomatic negotiation, military depolyment and financial share. The conclusion reveals that as the transition of inter- national system, the responsibility of maintaining world order should be more shared by the US allies through inter- national cooperation, especially during post-Cold War the US should recognize the effects of systemic difference upon its leading status, and adjusts its strategy to increase its interests.
