Summary:碩士 === 淡江大學 === 化學學系 === 84 === TRPy[1,3,6,8-tetrakis(alkythio)pyrenes,R=C2H5 and C3H7] which contain conjugated π system and hehave as electron donors are synthesized and used to form complexes with M(mnt)2-(mnt2-= cis-1,2-dicyano-1,2-ehtylenedithiolate;M=Ni,Co and Pt),TCNE( tetracyanoethene),and iodine. Infrared and ultra violet-visible spectra indicate that [TRPy][M(mnt)2] and [TRPy]Ix complexes are ionic and [TPPy][TCNE] is neutral, in their ground states. Temperature-varied magnetic susceptibility measurements exhibit that at low temperature there are ferromagnetic interactions in [TEPy][Ni(mnt)2] and anti-ferromagnetic interactions in [TPPy][M(mnt)2] (M=Ni and Pt);the rest complexes are essentially diamagnetic. The results suggest that the structures of [TRPy][M(mnt)2] consist of dimerized,segregated stacks of cations and anions. Conductivity measurement show that all the complexes are semiconductive in the measured temperature range, consistent with the suggested structures. The crystal structure of [TPPy][TCNE] has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The complex belongs to the triclinic space group P1,a=9.320(3),b=9.407(2),c=9.922(2) A,α=73.55(2), β=70.09(2),γ=82.42(2)。,V=783.8(4) A3,Dcal=1.328 g cm-3,Z=1. The crystal structure consists of stacks of alternating TPPy and TCNE with uniform spacing.
