Three mathematical models are derived for the material balance theory and for the equilibrium relationships in interface. The extraction rate of heavy metal can be predicted by using those mathematical models. The results from those model are compared with experimental data. The result show that the selectivity of the extraction for mixed solution is function of the carrier concentration, the PH values both in external and internal phase. The increase of carrier concentration and the increase of PH value in external phase or decrease the PH value in internal phase will increase the selectivity of the extraction rate. The results of this study indicate that Zine,Cadmium,Nickel can be efficiently separated from the mixed solution by emulsion liquid membrane under proper operating conditions. 碩士 === 文化大學 === 造紙印刷研究所 === 84 === This study discusses the application of the emulsion liquid
membrane technology in the selective separation of heavy metals
from mixed metal ion solution. Three mathematical models are
derived for the material balance theory and for the equilibrium

results from those model are compared with experimental data.
The result show that the selectivity of the extraction for
