Mothers were interviewed before discharge for demographic data and 2 weeks postpartum for the data of the satisfaction on breastfeeding and social support. Result: 1. Through factor analysis and mean, the data of satisfaction on breastfeeding had been divided into seven different subcategories and the regulation of breastfeeding for baby was the most unsatisfactory subcategory. 2. Through ANOVA or Pearson product-moment correlation, We found that (1) maternal comfort during breastfeeding had significant association with certain social support level. (2) the possibility that baby successfully suck breast milk had significant difference with the breastfeeding mode, whether the mode used was what they expected the duration condition of breastfeeding and certain social support level. (3) breast secretory function had significant difference with maternal age. education, whether the mode used was what they expected and certain social support level. (4) breastfeeding skills had significant difference with certain social suporrt level and whether the mode used was what they expected. (5) regulation of breastfeeding for baby had significant difference with maternal age. education, the duration condition of breastfeeding, breastfeeding mode, whether the mode used was what they expected and certain social support level. (6) daily life adaptation and physical condition had significant difference with the mode of delivery, time of the initial breast- -feeding and certain social support level.
