Three- tier C/S model makes this system easy to optimize. A good framework provides a well-defined infrastructure with which developers can easily extend system capabilities. Our system is implemented with the Object-Oriented (OO) paradigm. With Object- Oriented class design, we achieve a framework with extension capabilities. Furthermore, this system provides friendly GUI for portfolio management. In Chapter one, we introduce the motivations and objectives of this thesis. In Chapter two, we introduce some financial and computer backgrounds. In Chapter three, we overview the system architecture and go over the system functions and protocols. In Chapter four, we go over the internal data structure designs and discuss the implementation. In Chapter five, we evaluate the system performance. Chapter six is future work and conclusion.
