Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 資訊工程研究所 === 84 === This thesis presents a case-based simulation environment for computer-assisted learning (CAL) of elementary physics. In paticular, the case-based simulation environment allows the user to make use of prior solutions while solving a new physics problem. Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) is an emerging technology for designing intelligent systems. Previous research on CBR has shown its its utility in a variety of application domains. Case- based reasoning is based on the idea that a human can make use of past experiences in solving similar problems. The process of reasoning is more simple than the process of other methods of reasoning. Therefore, not only the efficiency of the CAL system could be improved, but instructional materials could be extended easily.
