Reactions of 9 with MeLi, nBuLi, or sBuLi following with CH3OH produced alcohol complexes 10, 13, 24, respe ctively, which were converted to the alkene complexes 11, 14, 25 by dehydration. Imine complexes 32, 33, 34, 35, 36 had been prepa red by the ketone complex 9 with various primary amines. The acet yl group of the complex 9 reacted with LDA in THF at -78 ℃ to yi eld enolated anion 16, which reacted with alkane halides to produ ce two species derivatives, one species were C-alkylation complex es 17, 20, 21, 22, the other were O- alkylation complexes 18, 19.
