Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 土木工程研究所 === 84 === This paper intends to analyze the vertical deformation monitoring network of the Taipei basin based on the leveling data observed from 1983 to 1990.In order to obtain appropriate elevation and standard deviation for each point, ten nodal points were first selected to form a basic free net upon which the least squares adjustment was executed according to the conventional technique using only leveling data of 1983.The elevations so estimated were then chosen as the initial approximations for the free net and rank deficient adjustment was made to it year by year.Subsequently, the usual least squares was applied yearly to the whole Taipei monitoring network with the elevations and standard deviations obtained in the free net adjustment served as the constraints. The results thus computed are notably more accurate and hence more sensitive in detecting deformation than the conventional approach. The research reveals that the Taipei basin had undergone some significant vertical deformation.
