Twenty-one presumed gene loci have resolved 34 alleles in 12 enzyme systems. Mean heterozygosity values of samples from Taiwanese water are obviously higher than those from Japan. The Nei''s genetic distance between two waters is 0.003, but the FST value of 0.05 indicates they are in moderate genetic differentiation. Comparing informations from the maximun length, sexual maturity size and growth of embryos, Mustelus manazo between Taiwanese and Japanese waters are two different populations.
