One civil engineering application is the discharge of drilling mud and produced water from oil drilling platform into oceans thought a submerged jet. The present study is using a flow visualization technique to observe the discharge of pollutant jet though exit tube on carriage and then we grab frame of processing to the computer. So we can obtain the centerline of pollutant ,the boundary of pollutant and the concentration of pollutant by using digital image analysis. Our data should be valuable in the prediction of wastewater discharge in the density-stratified fluid with a cross flow.
