In addition, comparison related with the relevancy of Applying theorism in predicting behavioral intention was made between TPB andTRA( Theory of Reasoned Action). This study consisted of 422 subjects who were selected by using clustersampling technique from students'''' parents in one primary school located inurban area. A questionnaire, developed by the autor of this study, was used togather data in 1995. Several major findings were as follows:(1)The attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control could effectively predict the subjects'''' intention of conserving electricity.(2)Attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control showed to be related to appropriate sets of salient behavioral, normative, and control beliefs about the behavior.(3)The results of this study supported the hypothesis of the TPB and revealed that the TPB was slightly better than TRA on predicting behavioral intention of conserving electricity.
