Furthermore, this study is sought to trace the MCH of delivery, explore the interrelstion of the traditional customs, and investigate the psychological stress of pregnant women and Maternal-child Health(MCH). The analysis was performed by MANOVA and canonical correlation. The result showed that pregnant women were mostly informed of " taboos in the pregnant women''''''''s rooms during pregnancy"; however, in terms of firm adherece, more ofthem abided by intaking " maintenance diet " in pregnancy. In terms of psychological pressure, both high and low pressureshared in half of the sampled pregnat women. With regardto the corrlation of selective demography characteristics and cognition oftraditional customs, younger pregnant women have better cognition of " taboos of stimulating diet". Although better cognition often lead to better compliance, yet psychological stress was not postive related in this study. The study also showed that compliance with traditional behavior and psychological stress did not necessarily affect MCH sigificantly. According to this study, professionals who involved in health eduction weresuggested to consider traditional customs of the role of culture, which influence pregnant women , and to render health education following their respective, individual needs; thus reducing their psychological stress and facilitating aneven thorough prenatal care.
