Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立清華大學 === 工業工程研究所 === 84 === This study intended to investigate the relationship between the detectibility for cat's eye retroreflective marker on curve roads at night and the deviation angle of car headlamps. In addition, the results were used to evaluate whether our CNS 840418 draft fulfill with detectability requirements in real driving condition. The investigation was conducted on two simulated curved roads. The curved road was installed with cat' s eye at 1m apart. The task was to detect the existence of the target. The experiment consists of left and right turn driving tasks. Five subjects aged between 20-40, with normal corrected vision were recruited. Each was experienced driver and drove his own sedan. The results showed that the deviation angle of 50% detectibility is 31.9 degree (SD = 2.32 degree) in left turn road and 39.1 degree (SD = 7.2 degree) in right turn road. Based on these experimental results, the detectability was converted to detectable threshold. With this threshold, a required 0.5sec tracking preview time was used to check against detectability on various radius curved roads. The results indicated that out CNS 840418 draft was fulfill the detectability requirements.
