It is difficulty to economically evaluate a watershed project consisting of a number of multisectorand long-term management practices and regulations. However, the reservoirs‘hydropower operation and their associate bendfits and costs are highlightein this research. The management practice value of NT$ 351 million dollars (NPV)is estimated, which composes the B/C ratio of 1.189 in the Ming-Hu watershedon the one hand.Because the Ming-Tan hydropower station began operation in the year 1992, the regulating value of NT$-103 million dollars (NPV) and the B/C ratio of 0.653 are estimated in the Ming-Tan watershed on the other hand. If the analysis period is continued to the year 2010, the B/C ratio of Ming-Tanbecomes 1.103. Ming-Hu and Ming- Tan watersheds together share the B/C ratio of 1.182 and the net present value of NT$ 1,589 million dollars. The research comments that the Taiwan Power Company, the watershed management agent, has achievedeconomically efficient watershed practies and regulations in Ming-Hu and Ming-Tan reservoir watersheds and the watershed management practices are worth to sustain.
