Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 資訊管理研究所 === 84 === The system analysis(SA) plays an important role in the process of developingan information system(IS), though the methodology and tool used are the keys toa qualified system analysis. System analysis methodology currently used focusheavily on the ''Data'' and the ''Process'' of the system examined. Besides thesetwo factors, the ''Business Flow'' should be included to be completed in theinformation system analysis process. The business flow is the rules to thebusiness activities, including the procedure, place and the person in charge. ! The main purpose of system analysis is to extract every piece of informationabout the system by user interview and data collecting, and to construct a clearmodel as a blueprint when developing the information system. Though differentterminology are used by both users and system analysts, which often leads tocountless misunderstanding. A general and understandable language between themis needed to bridge the gap in this communication intensive process. To minimize the communication gap and to discover the exact systemrequirements have always been the system analysts'' targets. The ''Business andData Flow Diagram'' (BDFD) proposed here enhance the system model with thedefinition of the operation procedures which lacks in previous system analysismethodology. Thus we may pertain the integrity of this system and decrease thechances of misunderstanding by making use of this new concept.
