The first method is developed to handlebidirectional approximate reasoning for rule-based systems usinginterval-valued fuzzy sets based on the matching function and the second oneis developed to handle fuzzy interpolative bidirectional approximatereasoning for sparse rule-based systems. The first proposed method is morereasonable and powerful than the existing ones due to the fact that the proposed method can perform bidirectional approximate reasoning based on thedirection of matching of the matching function. The second proposed methodcan guarantee that the interpolated conclusion will also be triangular- typefor a triangular-type observation and vice versa. 碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 資訊科學學系 === 84 === In this thesis, we propose two new bidirectional
approximate reasoningmethods for rule-based systems. The
first method is developed to handlebidirectional
approximate reasoning for rule-based systems
usinginterval-valued fuzzy sets based on the matching function
and the second oneis developed to handle fuzzy
interpolative bidirectional approximatereasoning for sparse
rule-based systems. The first proposed method is
morereasonable and powerful than the existing ones due to the
fact that the proposed method can perform bidirectional
approximate reasoning based on thedirection of matching of
the matching function. The second proposed methodcan guarantee
that the interpolated conclusion will also be triangular-
typefor a triangular-type observation and vice versa.
