The first method is developed to handlebidirectional approximate reasoning for rule-based systems usinginterval-valued fuzzy sets based on the matching function and the second oneis developed to handle fuzzy interpolative bidirectional approximatereasoning for sparse rule-based systems. The first proposed method is morereasonable and powerful than the existing ones due to the fact that the proposed method can perform bidirectional approximate reasoning based on thedirection of matching of the matching function. The second proposed methodcan guarantee that the interpolated conclusion will also be triangular- typefor a triangular-type observation and vice versa. Shyi-Ming Chen 陳錫明 1996 學位論文 ; thesis 70 zh-TW
