How to accurately extract thed parameters is an important topic in clinical application.edance technique provides a simple, easy and noninvasive wayasure the physiological parameters, such as the flow and breathf respiration as well as the cardiac output. It is based uponct that the impedance will change with different physiologicalThe purpose of this study is to design and implement a digitalprocessor based bioimpedance system using the digital andr design approaches for monitoring the respiratory and cardiacters. The overall system contains a digital multi-frequencyator, 8 independent current generators, a digital voltmeter, mplifier, and I/O interface. A digital signal processor2101) is used as the system kernel. Via the surface electrodes, rrents could be applied to the subject, and the resultinges would be measured and demodulated. The data could then beitted to the host personal computer for real-time monitoringalysis through the RS232C interface. The oscillator has fourncy selections, which are at about 19.5kHz, 39 kHz, 78 kHz, andz. The current for each channel has 12 bit resolution andrms) in amplitude. From the experimental results, it is shownhe measured cardiac and respiratory parameters are in goodance with the clinical standard values. The relative changes ofasured parameters for subject himself are also validated to bed with the physiological changes in different exercise status. Kuo-Sheng Cheng 鄭國順 1996 學位論文 ; thesis 90 zh-TW
