The reactants and final products were analyzed by using an FTIR(Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy). The effect of operational parameterfor plasma reactor including the CH4 and CO2 concentration in the feeding gas mixture, the equivalence ratio (φ= stoichiometric O2 needed / acetual O2 used)of feeding gas mixture, the gas flow rate in the reactor and the input powerwattage for CH4 and CO2 conversion and for C2H2, C2H4 and C2H6 formation wereinvestigated. In addition, the reaction pathways for CH4 decomposition and C2H2,C2H4 and C2H6 formation were built up and discussed.
