Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 84 === Due to the evolution of high speed network and powerful computer systems development, the traditional QoS(Quality of Service) system policing is not suitable for arbitrary distributed multimedia applications* diverse service demands. In this thesis, a forward-chaining Strategy Inference Engine( SIE) is proposed to solve resource adaptation and the deliberation with users quickly and precisely. Users and application designers can constitute policies for these situations through modifying rules directly. With the special commands QoS system supported when rule writing, the process of communication with users for gathering QoS parameters can be done easily and efficiently. In a desktop conference system of using this QoS system developed on Windows 95, the system indeed keeps the quality of service needed by the application. The adequate decisions making and the simple way for building communication processes make the system more feasible to be used.
