In the application of DC/DC concersions, incorporating the active-clamp circuitry into flyback topology serves to recycle the transformer leakage and auxiliary inductor''s energy while minimizing switch voltage stress. In the application of DC/AC conversion, a double reversible flyback converter topology is proposed. The advantages of the new converter include high efficiency, reduced size and weight, inherent galvanic isolation.It provides galvanic isolation between DC-source and AC-load without the requirement for a low-frequency transformer or DC/ DC preregulating stage.
