This algorithm transforms the Jacobian matrix into border block diagonal form (BBDF) which directly splits the power system into several sub- systems. Then, it allows the operations of every subsystem by w-matrix that got from fast decoupled load flow method. The parallel computation is applied to the multiprocessor that is built by connecting the transputers through link switches. Using the parallel computation and sparse matrix techniques, the load flow solutions are tested in IEEE 30 ,57, 118-bus and TPC 288-bus systems. From the implementa- tion results in transputer, the less execution time is re- quired than that of the traditional sequential computing method.
