Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 航空太空工程學系 === 84 === Most theoretical models proposed for describing cyclically
elastic- plastic stress-strain material behavior have
the disadvantage of being too complex to implement
efficiently and reliably, and therefore their
applicability to more complicated elastic-plastic structural
analysis can be expected to be impractical. One of the
purposes of this research project is to apply the
physically motivated and well behaved multi- axial
Distributed-Element Model(DEM)to the elastic-plastic
analysis of structural systems. By dealing with the response of
thin- walled tubes that are cyclically bent into plastic
range, we study the validity and effectiveness of the DEM
in structural analysis. Various modeling methods will be
applied to model the uniaxial cyclic-bending behavior of
a thin-walled tube, in order to understand its possible
physical response mechanisms. In addition, based on the multi-
axial DEM, studies of biaxial response behavior of a
thin-walled tube will be performed under conditions
such as bending in two orthogonal directions,
bending with axial force, and bending with tension, ect. The
results obtained from these studies will not only improve the
accuracy and reliability of practical engineering
analyses, but also provide useful insight into the
structural failure theory and the physical response
behavior of structural systems.
