Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 製造工程研究所 === 84 === In general laser machining process, laser beam alignment deeply influences machining quality. Because CO2 laser and Nd-YAG laser often used in related fields are not visible beam, it is necessary to establish a automatic laser beam alignment system to improve the automatic production of laser machining. The main purpose of this paper is to design and develope a system which is able to sense the position of laser beam center, and then to be integrated with the laser beam delivery system of a laser machine inthe future. In chapter 2 three defferent sensing theories are developed. All principles of them try to take advantage of available optical sensors and special hardware design to sense position of laser beam. One of these three theories "The method of laser beam intersection with a rotating convex spherical mirror" is choosed to be valued the real system performance. According to the results of those experiments in chapter 4 and chapter 5, the sensing precision of the system can keep above 90%. Additionally the maximun laser beam power the system accepted is 50 watt, therefore, it is already enough to be applied in practical conditions.
