During the growing period,the growth of shoots, leaves and fruit were investigated. Additionally,the quality and anthocyanin of fruit, and the cross section, cholorophyll content and photosynethetic rate of leaves were compared in both cultural systems . It was found that the temperature of early spring was elevated higher in the PE house. The higher temperature was fit for bud break and shoot growth. The harvest time of PE house grape was a month earlier than that of out house. However, the microclimate in the PE house somewhat different from that in the out of house would result in certain disadvantages in shoot growth and fruit quality. Shorter shoots, thinner leaves, less fresh and dry weights, lower percentage of shoot lignification, lower photosynthetic rate, lower total soluble solids, firmness and coloration of berries were observed in the PE house grape.
