The date of full bloom occured during late January to late February. The flushing frequence are one to four durning the season. The major flush flush happened in summer and autumn. The maximum number of intermittent flushingpresented as third flush of "Chai She" and appeared at second flush of "Irwin" and "Sensation". The second summer flush of "Chai She" and "Sensation" prefored the bestflowering and fruiting percentage in the fllowing year, which were the second and thirdflush in the "Irwin" . The bearing fruited twig also came from summer flush. The length, diameter and the panicle length of the fruiting shoot were correlated to thefruit setting, especially, shoot diameter were highly correlated with the number of fruit. Most of autumn flushes contained much more nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium andmagnesium than summer flushes. The changes of total soluble sugar and starch was higher in the autumn flush, and lower in the summer flushes leaves. When shoots stopped growth durning the winter, another peak of total soluble sugar and starch took plac. this peak decreased prior to the flowering period. The carbohydrates increased in the winter coincided with flower bud initiation. This revealed the carbohydrates were utilized as an energy source for flower bud differentiation.
