碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 昆蟲學系 === 84 === The objective of this thesis was to study a species of salt water Dasyhelea sp. and factors effect on the development of Dasyhelea sp. were observed. (3) survey of adults of Dasyhelea sp. in Tainan area . The results showed that when the Dasyhelea sp. was reared with algae at 15℃, 20℃, 25℃, 30℃ and 35℃ in the rearing container, the developmental time for a generation were 59, 53, 29, 24 and 19 days, respectively. The longevity of male and female at 25℃ was 17.1 days and 12.0 days, respectively. The developmental time and pupation rate of Dasyhelea sp. at 10, 30 and 50 sality were 25.2, 21.6 and 20.8 days and 62.5﹪, 88.5﹪ and 94.7﹪, respectively. The effect of pH values on the developmental time of Dasyhelea sp. were not significantly different from pH 5 to 9. The insemination rate of Dasyhelea sp. in fields were 91.6﹪, 92.2﹪ and 92.4﹪ at three localities where collected. Adult population of Dasyhelea sp. was low in May, June, July and August, and this was coincide with the rainy season at Tainan area.Both salinity and temperature are related to which affecting the occurrence of salt water Dasyhelea sp.
