HOD.We find that excitation of the asymmetric stretch increase
the cross sectionmore than excitation of bending mode. The
symmetric stretch does not jointhis reaction much. The initial
asymmetric stretch energy transfers to theproduct H-Cl bond, the
translational energy increase the cross section, theinitial
rotational motion has little effect on the cross section nor on
the final energy distribution of the products.
