Summary:碩士 === 淡江大學 === 歐洲研究所 === 83 === The aim of this thesis is to acquire a comprehensive under- standing of the background,function and implication of the Civ- il Aircraft Industry Policy in the EC and investigate the deci- sion making factors,the reguulations and objective laws that were administrated,the effects of these measures and to exemine the policy developpment connected with civil aircraft technol- ogy development within the EC.The research was conducted through the material analysis method;collecting and analyzing the hist- orical progression of Eur. aircraft industry in order to est- ablish the ways which the Eur. countries and EC assisted the advancement of the industry and created their owm role as a major world supplier. The contents of this report studies the economic characteristics of this industry,analyzes the connect- ion between Airbus and governmental policy development probes how these factors influences the trade conflict between U.S. and EC. Finally,we will look at the advantages & disadvantages con- nected with Eur. experience and how this can be part of Tai- wan's benefits.In conclusion, the special relationship of EC,four Airbus sponsor countries and Airbus Industrie has developed a distinctive mentality and will have very specific policies uni- que to the European situation.
