It is assumed that beyond the surface the potential is constant which may be positive or negative. We derived solutions of the hydrogen Schrodinger equation. both outside and inside the surface. Then we find the energy eigenvalues and eigen- functions of the hydrogen atom from the boundary conditions. Namely, that the wavefunction and its normal gradient component are continue at the surface. Normalizing the obtained wave- function we evaluate some observable physical quantities, e.g. the hyperfine splitting constant, the electric dipole moment, the nucleus magnetic shielding, etc. Graphs of these quantities versus the distance from the atom nucleus to the surface are given in various cases. Curves of equal values of the electron density are also given. It is found out that at the same distance from the nucleus to the surface plane the hydrogen energy near the pit is somewhat lower, and near the channel is rather lower.
