Description
Summary:碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 應用化學系 === 83 === Melanolepis multiglandulosa (Reinw.) Reichb. f. et Zoll. (Euphor- biaceae) is a deciduous tree or shrub, which grows wild in the forest of the piedmont through Taiwan. The plant is used in Tai- wan-folk medicine for the treatment of inscecticide and antifla- mmatory. From the methanolic extracts of the roots of this plant, friede- lin, oleanolic acid, olean-12-en-3β,28-diol, β-amyrin acetate, 6β- hydroxystigmast-4-en-3-one, stigmast-4-en-3-one & stigmast- 4,22-dien-3-one, 5α-stigmast-3,6-dione, phytosterols (campes- terol, 11.44%; stigmasterol, 52.00﹪; β-sitosterol, 36.56%), phytosterol-3-O-β-D-glucosides (campesterol-3-O-β-D-glucoside , 14.91%; stigmasterol-3-O-β-D-glucoside, 47.54%; β-sito- sterol- 3-O-β-D-glucoside,37.55% ) and D-sucrose were obtained by column chromatography. The structure ofthese compounds were identified by spectrometric and chemical methods. All the above compound, except friedlin, were firstly isolated from the genus of Melanolepis in the literature.
