In addition , it is to understand the behavior of the interaction between iron powder and gasoline additives in order to provide useful knowledge in improving the preparation of gasoline additives formulation. The experimental results show that the gasoline detergents at high concentration enable the surface tension of gasoline containing iron powder to become lower in comparison to that of gasoline with no iron powder . At that meantime , the exp- erimental data also indicate that (1) the interaction between iron powder and G101 (or G107) +G203 is stronger than the int- eraction between iron powder and G101 (or G107) + G301 or G101 (or G203) + PPG1000 or G101 (or G107) + G203 + G301 + PPG1000 is seen to be increased with increasing the amount of gasoline detergents present in gasoline and (3) the interaction between iron powder and G101 + G203 is stronger than the interaction between iron powder and other gasoline additives.
