Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程技術學系 === 83 === Usually ,the collapse of buildings leaded by seismic impulsion attributes to the insufficient resistant capacity of structures. However , adjacent buildings with insufficient separation often collide into each other during an earthquake and lead to instant collapse of buildings in recent earthquakes. Therefore, pounding is one of the important problems in the field of earthquake engineering. In this article ,the fondmental pounding characterist- ics of two single story steel model frames were experim- entally studied, and are expected to get understanding in pounding. The experiments are snap back tests , and the influencing parameters ( including contact area ,pound- ing mechanism stiffness ,size of plates , and structure stiffness ) are investigated for structural pounding. In low initial pounding velocity range, pounding velo- city shows insignificant distinction in pounding freque- ncy(inversion of half of the pounding contact time). The decrease of pounding mechanism stiffness reduces the po- unding reaction and pounding frequency , but structure stiffness has no singnificant influence on pounding res- ponses.
