The first step in this study , compared the ETABS program ( with rigid floor assumption ) and the SAP90 program (with flexible floor assumption). The horizontal slab shear obtained by cut a free body from the structure tends to underestimate the real values . The examples used in this study include structures from 2 to 16 story high. The shear forces obtained by finitelement calculation should be more accurate. All non-slender structures should not be modeled as beam elements. The second step in this study is to find a suitable way which can do the reinforcement design for plane stress problems. The concepts and formula were derived and compared with current design code . The anchorage requirement was considered also. Pan, Chan-Ping 潘誠平 1995 學位論文 ; thesis 189 zh-TW
